This trend book explores various experiments and graphic explorations that illustrate and question the issues surrounding metadata, inviting us to reflect on the role of privacy in our digital society.
Through this object, we explore the graphical interpretations of the metadata a person would have left behind while browsing the internet, using their smartphone… By leafing through the fragments of their activity, we gain insight into who they were, how they used the web, and their digital tools. We take on the role of an algorithm attempting to understand a personality in order to better predict it.
